                           HOMEWORK (Due 12/12):
  •                  Read "Shitty First Drafts" & Perfectionism 21-32 in Bird by Bird by Anne 
  •                  Revise observing exercise from today's class.  When you revise, make the 
                           description a brief scene from a story that simply reveals the character's 
                           conflict,  this conflict doesn't need to be resolved.   Post revised piece to your 
                           blog.  It must be a minimum of 600 words (but can be more).


             
R 12/12               Watch Art21:  S2 "Stories"; Blog post:  Did this video
                           expand/change your definition of the term story?  Why or why
                           not? Explain.  Begin discussing basic parts of speech?

                          Video Lecture part 1 and part 2 and Take Notes (mini. 600 
                          words for two videos combined); upload notes
                          to Ulearn  & complete Understanding MLA quiz before
                          10:30am; Research Topic Proposals Due

  •                 Librarian will be at our next class meeting; take lots of notes! 
                           put your name on the evaluation;
