First you should locate three-five articles on the library's electronic databases to help you prepare for this. You may use the world wide web as well.
In your talk, you should:

What was the author? What were some of their significant accomplishments? When were they working? Who were some of their contemporaries? What have/did they contribute to the literary canon and drama?
•What were some of the historical concerns of the author's time? How did their body of work address these?
When was the play first produced? Where was it first performed? What type of work is it? How should it be categorized? What was the author's source of inspiration? What is its setting? Who are some of its sginificant characters? What are its important themes? HOW HAVE CRITICS VIEWED THIS WORK AS LITERATURE? HOW HAS IT BEEN VIEWED IN PERFORMANCE?
